Our client is a Construction company in the Hotel & Leisure sector and they are looking for a bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. Their offices have recently been refurbished and they have fantastic facilities and on site parking. They are looking to interview as soon as possible and ideally the they would like someone to start in 2 weeks time.

Salary is £25-30K based on experience.

Working hours are Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Maintain client records with all aspects of Bookkeeping.
  • Posting Sales and Purchase invoices
  • Company and Supplier reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Maintain client records with all aspects of Bookkeeping.
  • P.A.Y.E
  • Intercompany and supplier account reconciliations
  • Answering customer and supplier queries
  • Filing and other office ad hoc duties
  • Credit control

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bookkeeping experience essential
  • Xero working experience essential
  • Experience in construction industry desirable
  • Experience in bookkeeping or similar role essential
