Fantastic opportunity for a contracts specialist to come on board and join a globally recognised company based in Uxbridge Stockley Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for Coordinating the process of managing deal proposals, contracts, amendments, and renewals for all of the clients Consumer Products, Co-ordinate and maintain file copies of all relevant contractual documentation and prepare ad-hoc letters relating to contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Licensing Contracts Drafting (New Agreements, amendments, novation agreements, terminations, shipping and customs clearance and other ad-hoc contract related letters), Evaluation, and coordinating execution:
  • Serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters. Act as contractual "middleman" between company employees and customers, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations.
  • On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide redlined recommendations and often / mediate between legal, category manager and licensee until consensus has been reached.
  • Amend Standard Terms and Conditions in light of revised IP (intellectual property) and, where applicable, pre--drafting replacement clause for legal to review
  • As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to category managers or other operational staff, including training to new category managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
  • Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements.

Key Skills

  • Drafting licensing contract (1 - 3 years' experience)
  • Previous experience of working in a senior administrative role
  • Project management experience, particularly in the tracking of key documentation
  • Previous exposure and understanding of legal contracts Previous experience of working with licensing contracts
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external departments.
  • Good communication skills
