I am currently recruiting for a part-time receptionist to cover the hours of Monday- Friday working hours are 12.30 to 5.30 with a 30 minute break. Candidates desired are those from a Corporate reception background now looking for reduced working hours.

There will be a need to extend to full days to cover the Office Managers holiday

Purpose of Role

To ensure that all Reception duties are executed in such a way that it allows the Reception and Office to run smoothly on a daily basis. To meet and greet visitors and answer telephone calls on switchboard. To provide support to the Office Manager on ad hoc related duties including some heavy lifting duties.

What the role involves

  • Management of the whole reception area
  • Greeting visitors, ensuring all visitors sign in the visitors book, etc
  • Taking incoming telephone calls, dealing with such calls promptly in a professional manner and redirecting appropriate calls to departments.
  • Providing back-up to the Office Manager in booking couriers
  • Cover for Office Manager Fire Marshall duties
  • Prepared to do a first aid course and become a first aider
  • Capable for heavy lifting of recycling

Candidates applying need to have a strong Receptionist experience which is demonstrated on the CV
