A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our successful client based in St. Albans for a Designer to join their fun and friendly team! The successful candidate will play a part in the Design department for the business.

My Client is a successful FMCG organisation who are one of the leading brands within their market. Recently gone through a rebranding and a positive growth period they are now looking for a Designer to put their creative stamp to support the Designer Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design new products and packaging that is commercially viable.
  • Speak directly with the factories/suppliers when developing new products.
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal departments including; Sales, Licensing, Production, US design team, Merchandising.
  • Lead/Assist the Product Manager in the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customers at artwork and sample stage.
  • Assist in managing / building photo library.
  • Assist in helping maintain website - overview / proof role only.
  • Assist in managing product archive.
  • Oversea factory visits to develop new products from artwork to production stage.
  • Assist the Product Manager in range launches / EXPO's.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Experience Required

  • Experience designing products within/for a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to easily travel to St. Albans.
