Our client is an international sustainable energy business headquartered in the UK and are looking for a Development Assistant to Assist in the definition, interrogation and development of hybrid solar prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

* To assist in the delivery of fully consented construction ready hybrid solar development projects

* To assist in nurturing development partners; either third party originators or co-developers

* To assist identifying new opportunities and qualifying site suitability for our hybrid solar solutions

* To support a system of continuous improvement across the development supply chain

* To strengthen land owner relationships to facilitate the development process

* To help secure landowner consent for grid connection applications and exclusivity

* To support internally with the review and revision of Option to Lease and Option to Purchase Agreements

* To liaise with supply chain partners in permitting, real estate and grid connection design

* To help promoting inter and intra-departmental communication to maximise efficiencies, collaboration and ultimately business performance

* To support external funder dialogue regular maintenance of data rooms

* To learn and fully utilise our Opportunity Management software as the central spine of project development.

* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes including anti-bribery policy and Environmental and Quality Management System (compliant with ISO 9001 and 14001).

Skills required:

* Degree or higher degree level qualifications in a related discipline (real estate, planning or engineering)

* Highly self-motivated with an ability to define and adapt project targets to ultimately get projects delivered

* High accuracy and attention to detail

* Strong IT skills (including Microsoft packages)
