Our client are a global manufacturing company with an office in Chertsey. They are looking for a German speaking Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing customer support across Europe from order entry and inventory management through to delivery of products to customers. In this position, you will interact with customers, distributors, sales representatives and direct sales force across Europe as well as Sales, marketing, manufacturing and logistics teams in the internationally to build and strengthen relationships with their customers.

Key responsibilities

-Provide customer service related activities to customers, distributors and representative organisations to support their needs
-Co-ordinate sales orders from distributors and customers, including facilitating account creation, placement of purchase orders on the factories and managing inventory levels
-Enter, validate and manage the processing of sales orders via the company's CRM system
-Monitor and address escalation issues for specific customers
-Obtain, maintain and monitor customer forecasts for planning purposes and ensure that order backlog is kept up-to-date.
-Work closely with manufacturing and logistics to ensure the smooth delivery of product and manage any short-term supply issues
-Liaise with customers with respect to quality issues and work with Operations and Finance to correctly process returns
-Working on projects and preparing reports/presentations for management as and when required

Key skills

Candidates are required to have experience in a field sales support or customer service environment and must be fluent (both written and verbal) in English and German

-Strong communication skills across business units and departments in an international environment.
-Excellent understanding of sales order processing and logistics processes.
-High level of accuracy with good attention to detail.
-Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with minimum supervision.
-Good working knowledge of Oracle or similar MRP systems is desirable but not essential.
-Proficient knowledge of Microsoft software suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
