An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading media and production company as an HR Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the HR team advising on company policy and practice including performance management, grievance and disciplinary and absence management.

Key Responsibilities:

To be the first point of contact for employee issues including:

  • Policy and Procedure
  • Disciplinary/Grievance/Performance Management Procedures
  • Maternity, Parental & Paternity Case Management
  • Flexible Working
  • Absence/Leave Process
  • Long-Term Absence Cases
  • Inductions
  • Carry out exit interviews
  • Work alongside the HR & Recruitment Coordinator to ensure completion of payroll and other forms on procedures detailed above plus other employee life-cycle events including leavers, contract changes etc.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous HR Experience is essential.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Should be an articulate and compelling communicator, should have the ability to draft clear, fluent and concise written communications is essential;
  • Should be competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet and email, and experience of database administration;
  • Familiarity with Workday would be advantageous, but training will be given.
  • Motivated, with an enthusiasm for and interest in how HR must support and contribute to the business;
  • Able to juggle and prioritise a varied workload and develop and maintain systems;
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure whilst maintaining appropriate service levels;
  • Experience in the media industry is desirable.
