Our client needs your skills as an HR Coordinator to assist with the daily operations of their Human Resources department, providing HR administrative and support service to both the Dept and the business.

- Providing an effective HR administrative support
- Supporting and administering any payroll process, aiding the HR Advisor when required, confidentially, accurately and in a timely manner.
- To provide administrative support on Security, ensuring compliance with security requirements and our process.
- Co-ordinating and executing any administration associated with joiners and leavers.
- Administering absence records, together with the HR database diary working closely with the HR Advisors.
- Maintaining the departmental filing system so that it follows a logical order, archiving as appropriate, and ensuring that outstanding filing is kept to an absolute minimum.
- Faxing, photocopying, handling general internal and external HR related enquiries, general housekeeping.
- Making recommendations for improving the department's processes to increase business effectiveness.
- Effectively managing the Department's stationery requirements keeping stocks to a manageable minimum for cost containment/control.
- Arranging general medical appointments and annual flu vaccinations as required.
- Providing HR letters.
- Updating and presentation of all the HR Noticeboards.
- Dealing with all HR queries and administration requirements across the business.
- Support and assist the Head of HR with administrative duties as and when required.
- General assistance in mailshots enveloping/separating into group etc.
- HR Calendar - update and send out reminders when needed.
- Scanning of Personal files onto our HR Network and cleansing as required.
- Daily checks of postal mail (internal and external).
- Circulate internal vacancy notices for all sites and place vacancies on relevant web sites/Company Intranet.
- Obtain employment and character references
- Processing any associated documentation e.g. training evaluation forms, certificates as instructed by the HR Advisor.
- Supporting the HR Advisor with L&D administration processes and procedures in a timely and effective manner.
- Organising any events to be hosted by HR, including dairy invites, amendments and changes.

Skills, Qualification and Personal Attributes
- GCSE/A level education including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent, is essential
- Excellent IT skills (training will be provided on all our HR systems)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience of working in a HR environment
- Have the ability to judge a context, make connections and build relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to process large amounts of information quickly
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks
- The ability to prioritise changing deadlines
- Good team working skills
- Confident when working under pressure, while maintaining a sense of humour
- Proactive approach with the ability to challenge current ways or working and add value.
