Our client is looking for someone who thrives in an extremely busy environment and can offer both quick fix and longer-term solutions for business situations.

You will be building relationships with the key HR business partners based in the US, as well as building relationships with the HR Partners within Europe. This role will be the central point of contact and will be responsible for ensuring coordination and communication is effective, taking into consideration time and cultural differences.

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent (highly desirable) OR HR or business related qualification (degree or equivalent) OR working towards it
  • Experience at HR Advisor/Specialist/Business Partner level in a fast moving, commercial business
  • Ideally used to working within a complex, matrix global organisation
  • Good understanding of UK Employment Law and possible knowledge of other country laws (or ability and curiosity to learn)
  • Previous experience in creating and implementing policies and business process procedures
  • Comfortable with a high-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to diagnose problems/ issues & identify key solutions while remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong willingness to support the development of a learning organisation
  • Curiosity and ability to learn from external sources/networks to improve our HR operational activities
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Drive to challenge how things are done and driving efficient and effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with local language and English as the language of operation
  • Ability to work in partnership with the business and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the HR teams
  • Strong facilitation and team building skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with managers across locations and from different cultures
