We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our globally recognised organisation based within the Uxbridge area on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating machinery (MILLING & TURNING)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture of mechanical equipment using machine tools
  • Service / repair of camera systems, and associated accessories
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of all potential client damage situations.
  • When required complete refurbishment of rental assets
  • Able to successfully use testing equipment.
  • Interact with Operations and Marketing to ensure proper reports on equipment and time estimate for serviceability etc
  • Provide ongoing feedback, measures and analysis on repair process.
  • Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction through to job completion
  • Consistent and effective use of all available systems to support entire repair process. Utilise system information to effectively manage resources and priorities based on orders and returns.
  • Provide highest level of technical knowledge and support especially to clients

Key Skills Required:

  • Skilled manual machinist (Milling & Turning )
  • Machining low quantities of precision component's in stainless steel, brass and aluminium
  • Experience operating machines within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven technical capability with experience in servicing, repairing etc film / digital based filming equipment
  • Self starter with outstanding interpersonal and oral communication skills
