Fantastic opportunity to join a well established international business in Slough, Berkshire.

Our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time basis.

Working hours are Monday- Friday 08.30-17:00.

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Entering the purchase invoices onto Sage
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Ensuring that supplier records are maintained
  • Preparing weekly/monthly payments for suppliers via bacs/fast pay/international transfers
  • Booking international currency, dealing with foreign exchange
  • Phone answering, dealing with queries effectively, efficiently and promptly
  • Daily billing of imports, shipping, duties, vat, misc
  • Checking purchase invoice discrepancy reports
  • Checking airline and other UK supplier invoices
  • Dealing with agents queries, awaiting credit notes and clearing invoices for payment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Purchase Ledger Experience
  • Previous experience in Accounts
  • Strong Microsoft office knowledge
