My client based in Bracknell is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. This role will be highly visible within the business and therefore I am looking for a highly credible individual with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders.

You will be reporting into the Accountant, maintaining all Purchase Ledger and ensuring all invoices owed are recorded accurately and paid within the correct time frames.

Your duties -

  • Process purchase orders in accordance with the current procedures
  • Resolve purchase order inquiries
  • Process invoices and pass all invoices to relevant authorisers
  • Update ledgers with authorised invoices
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • Set up new supplier accounts in accordance with the current procedure
  • Pay suppliers via BACS and cheques
  • File purchase orders, invoices and statements
  • Take the 'Ownership' of ledger, ensuring that any issues are progressed/escalated appropriately

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Purchase Ledger Role, computer literate in Microsoft Office and have excellent attention to detail. It is desirable if you have used DIMENSIONS but this is not essential for the role.
