Fantastic opportunity to join a well established organisation based in Esher, Surrey.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be a key part of a small finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager and working alongside the two Finance Officers in the efficient and smooth running of the finance function

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Maintain and update the Purchase Ledger ensuring all information held is accurate
  • Prepare and code invoices for data entry
  • Preparation of weekly Bacs;
  • Processing expenses
  • Maintain updated supplier files including phone no's and contact details
  • Contact suppliers at month end to reconcile statements
  • Answer queries from suppliers and staff members regarding statements, invoices and payments
  • Provide support to the finance team
  • Ensuring all transactions are matched.
  • Ensure all filing is kept up to date
  • Ensuring all invoices are scanned

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working as an accounts assistant within a finance team.
  • Experience of accounts payable function

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and the ability to use MS Word (Essential).
  • Good all round IT skills and knowledge (Essential).

  • Have a logical and Methodical approach to their work
  • Attention to detail
