Our international client based in Chessington, Surrey are focused on securing the right permanent candidate to provide administrative support to their Purchasing team and other important stakeholders with the business!

Responsibilities include:

  • Being point of contact between the Sales, Purchasing, Finance and Warehouse departments
  • Setting up new brands and communicating all information to sales
  • Raising purchase orders and being responsible for complete process
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met
  • ETA report updated and monitored daily
  • Proactively communicate any delays or issues to the purchasing department and sales
  • Ensure all purchasing related queries and issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently and ensuring good levels of communication with stakeholder
  • Inbound logistical planning - clearing products through customs with relevant carriers
  • Receive and manage product quotes
  • Produce product pricing reports for review
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Produce demand reports on a weekly basis
  • Produce and report on slow moving products
  • Communicating and managing deal pricing from suppliers to sales
  • Maintaining the product life cycle in correlation with new products/device launches
  • Maintain compliance records for all products
  • Liaise with other departments to establish support and maintain effective and relevant procedures - sales, marketing, finance, warehouse
  • Keeping sales up to date with all relevant information e.g. expected delivery dates, pricing, product development
  • ERP system Management
  • Assisting purchasing department with any other admin duties
  • Assisting with any other departments as required
