Our client, a global leader in their industry, is recruiting for 1-year contract opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Assistant to support the International Regulatory Affairs therapeutic area team. The successful candidate must have great IT skills, ideally with experience using regulatory systems. They will also have some experience in a pharmaceutical environment, ideally within regulatory affairs or clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a resource for administrative electronic and paper filing work to support the clinical trial activities of the company in the international market region.
  • Provides support for regulatory teams for proof reading of regulatory product documentation
  • Provides support for regulatory submissions, usually under supervision from more senior associates.
  • Performs filing and data retrieval functions as directed, or in conjunction with departmental SOPs.
  • Performs workflows and procedures regarding document tracking, indexing and retrieving and disseminating information to the Regulatory department.
  • May contribute to routine local process improvements and functional initiatives, which have an impact on the working of the Regulatory Affairs function.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Some relevant experience, ideally clinical trials, within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Be proactive and anticipates needs and gaps.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in general IT systems (eg Microsoft Word and Excel), and experience with regulatory systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of role of Regulatory Affairs and regulatory requirements in clinical trials would be beneficial, but not essential.
