My well established client based in Sunbury-upon-Thames are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their busy team on a temporary basis for a period of 2 - 3 Months. This role has been created to support the internal sales team with their backlog of work due to company success.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • To manage the commercial aspects of all new orders before issuing to Operations for onward processing
  • This includes finalisation of all required and pre-defined information, e.g.:
  • Credit approval of payment up front where required
  • Finalisation and clarification of specification to ensure fit for purpose and reflecting customer's needs
  • Issue Order Acknowledgement and Project Order Form/Simplification of Terms document upon receipt
  • Confirmation of realistic and accurate install date, where possible
  • Administration of subcontract order documentation
  • Log projects onto relevant Tracker
  • First contact with customers to ascertain if project is to be progressed from survey or drawings
  • Ensure that all relevant fields are accurately completed at all times for tender enquiry handling and order processing, to ensure that management data required by the business can be fulfilled
  • To continuously work on improving the way in which we use CRM within Internal Sales
  • Ensure good working relationships at all times with both internal and external based teams within Sales, Service and Operations
  • To establish sound working relationships with our existing and new main contractor, end user, quantity surveyor and specifier customers
  • To manage & maintain customer relationships, ensuring that our customers are kept fully abreast of the status of their order, identifying customer issues and taking action appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction
  • To provide technical telephone and written support to all incoming enquiries with minimal referral to others

  • PC literate and proficient in the use of MS Office/familiar with CRM systems
  • Professional approach displaying high standards at all times
