We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for our market leading client based in Langley. They are looking for an Sales Support Administrator to provide an efficient and timely order processing and sales support service that also ensures all appropriate shipping documents. The role is Temp to Perm and they are looking for someone available immediately

Key responsibilities

  • To process all orders promptly, updating systems accordingly and disseminating information to relevant parties.
  • To liaise with Sales Team on all matters regarding orders placed. Answering queries and bringing exceptions to the relevant person's notice as required.
  • Action all shipping advices swiftly and accurately.
  • Update all bookings, Shipping paperwork and confirm that our customers have received their shipments on time.
  • Updating cancellations and amendments. Adding booking details and shipment information. Writing off minimal outstanding quantities.
  • Assisting the Sales Team with general queries regarding shipments, orders, bookings and other ad hoc enquiries.
  • Arrange all relevant shipping documents to be prepared and dispatched to meet customer requirements.
  • Raising and distribution of sales invoices.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation and sales invoices are filed appropriately.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team and the company as required.
  • Perform other similar duties when requested.

Two years previous administrative experience in a distribution or similar environment preferable gained in a business with an import/export element.

Key Skills/Behaviours

  • Must have good written and verbal communications skills with a strong customer service attitude
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word and SAP software system
  • Able to work at speed with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills, able to work on own initiative and function as a team member helping and supporting colleagues as required
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment where peaks of work occur with an ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Invoice processing experience
  • Excellent administrative skills and the ability to operate in an organised way
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Knowledge of importing
