Our global client based in Brighton are seeking a Sales Support/Quotation Advisor for 3 months with a possibility to be extended.

Purpose of the Role

Deliver the highest level of customer service to include taking ownership of day-to-day client account issues and liaising with the appropriate areas of the business to resolve within agreed service levels.

Accountabilities

  • Prepare and send accurate quotations along with all relevant attachments to Intermediaries within agreed service levels
  • Contact Intermediaries to follow up Census Data Forms that have not been returned within agreed timescales
  • Refer quote requests as specified in the Proactive Calls BPP to the Sales Consultant managing the portfolio to carry out a more thorough fact find with the Intermediary
  • Check answer phone each day, morning and afternoon, passing on messages to relevant sales manager.
  • Collect and action post morning and afternoon and forward to appropriate department
  • Assign out of portfolio quote requests in accordance with the appropriate BPP
  • Forward any applications received into 'broker Euro/row inbox directly to New Business and email Intermediary to advise them of process for returning applications
  • Action basic enquiries e.g. lapse requests in the agreed service level
  • Review and filter emails action any quotes and forward emails not relevant for Intermediary Sales to the correct department
  • Housekeep all above Mailboxes to ensure they are never full as this prevents quotes being sent
  • Take overflow calls as agreed with line manager.
  • Index Sales Manager emails within 48 hours
  • To act as an Ambassador of the company and to champion our service proposition to help establish us as the preferred international healthcare provider
  • To have a close working relationship with service departments in order to ensure smooth hand over of clients from sales to service
  • To demonstrate that you pay due regard to customers and treat them fairly by:make the fair treatment of customers central to all that you do
  • complete all compulsory regulatory training on time to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to be competent in your role
  • always provide customers with clear information which takes account of their circumstances

Experience in working in an environment that is very target orientated and open to a lot of change in order to keep a competitive edge.

To ideally have sales experience within a similar market, preferably in an international arena. Knowledge of both new business processes and account management are essential

Ideal experience and delivered performance

  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Good written communication, a high level of assertiveness and an excellent telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, articulate and numerate
  • Ideally to have some experience of the healthcare market
  • To have a good geographical knowledge, an understanding of differing cultural drivers and an appreciation of differing time zones

Excellent PC skills are essential including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
