We are currently recruiting for our market leading client based in Milton Keynes, they are looking for an experienced Secretary to support their Senior Partner and two Directors. The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support whilst assisting with general office support to the secretarial team and other departments when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Partner's and Director's diaries, including arranging and confirming meetings
  • Organising in house lunches/rooms/training days/webinars/meetings
  • Billing including preparation of invoices and completion of fee note analysis as well as issuing fixed fee invoices
  • Assisting visiting partners with secretarial work as and when required
  • Dealing with phone calls from clients and contacts, taking accurate messages and ensure the efficient passing on of these
  • Assist with banking, collecting petty cash and raising cheques etc.
  • Managing incoming/outgoing post

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous experience is essential in similar role
  • Previous experience working in either a Legal or Accountancy Firm.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Organised with a positive attitude with a willingness to help others
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to take the initiative and think ahead
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
