Our client a leading global relocation organisation based in North West London are looking for an experienced Senior Storage Administrator to work in their Head Quarters based in Park Royal.

Responsible for overseeing the day to day activity and delegation of tasks within the Storage team and for the accurate and efficient processing of storage administration. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Job summary

-Processing and managing accurate records of all activity on customer accounts including customer billing, invoicing, storage and warehouse records to agreed service levels
-Strong collaboration with other operational areas across the organisation ensuring the business operates efficiently and operates comprehensive financial controls
-Supporting the warehouse team to accurately input data from inbound/outbound delivery movements and assist with planning warehouse tasks

Key responsibilities

-Act as the first point of escalation for the day-to-day operational issues
-Manage reporting and conduct regular analytical reviews of storage accounts and team performance
-Ensure all invoicing and storage management records are completed accurately and on time (Moveware - full training will be given)
-Dealing with clients on storage queries, payments and outstanding invoices in a professional and timely manner
-Establish, implement (with management approval) and maintain effective storage policies and procedures
-Reviewing KPIs for productivity performance
-Encourage a strong team-orientated work ethic whilst promoting a collaborative and rewarding work environment. You should be capable of minimising conflict if it arises, and direct your team members with their performance if this falls below the required standard
-Ensure transparency in communications with colleagues and management
-Manage storage accounts within pre-defined Company Credit Control Policy
-Actively ensure processes and procedures are adhered to with movements into store, inspections and deliveries out of store
-Liaise with internal / external customers where necessary in a professional manner demonstrating exceptional customer service
-Participate in inventory reconciliation process when required

Skills, experience and Characteristics

-Reliable, positive and professional "can do" attitude
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent organisation and administration skills essential
-Essential to have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
-Excellent customer liaison skills with good written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members.
-Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment is essential
-Good computer literacy using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel - LOOK UPS)
-Demonstrated storage administration or billing experience is beneficial
-Demonstrated experience using warehouse management systems is beneficial
