Fantastic opportunity based in central London for an experienced team administrator to join a fantastic company and provide secretarial and office administration assistance for various accountancy departments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day secretarial and office administration assistance for the Audit, Corporate Tax, and VAT departments.
  • Photocopying and binding accounts and tax returns and other related work.
  • Scanning all post onto Document Management (DM) and distribution to partners/managers as well as dealing with any incoming post/deliveries for partners, and logging post daily in absence of partners, contributing to a paperless office. This includes organising physical and electronic client records in the database and assuring all records are kept safe or returned to client when required.
  • Maintenance of London audit clients on DM including setting up new clients, ensuring all KYC procedures have been complied with, and drafting engagement letters covering all assignments. This also includes closing historic clients and opening new clients.
  • Maintaining paper and electronic filing and ensuring this is kept up to date. This included archiving
  • Assisting Corporate Tax and VAT departments in all admin and secretarial tasks including drafting and sending out 64-8s to HMRC, sending letters & payments.
  • Manage partners' diaries, including arranging and confirming meetings, and keeping partners informed of any urgent matters or changes

Requirements

  • Experience in a legal or accountancy background
  • Secretarial and office administration experience
  • Sound communication skills
  • Self-reliant and pro-active working style, able to use own initiative
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
