Our widely recognised client based in Ruislip are currently recruiting for a Strategic Operations Manager to join their successful team; they will be accountable for ensuring the order management process, logistic and company service function has a clear strategic plan. The successful candidate must have highly developed specialist supply chain knowledge and proven leadership ability at a senior management level.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing customer service improvements establishing the vision for strong customer service and implementing and executing the vision, in accordance with the company objectives.
  • Develop a logistics strategy based on the growing requirements of the company to support order flow through EMEA including risk review and ongoing feedback
  • Manage end to end customer satisfaction, incorporating the voice of the customer into existing processes and managing the structure to consistently get feedback
  • To be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the logistics function across EMEA.
  • Liaise with Customer Service Provider for day to day operation, taking initiative to resolve issues and make improvements in operation where possible
  • To have overall management of the distribution centres
  • To plan the development and implementation of efficient and effective physical systems for the supply of goods to designated locations and where appropriate to develop solutions to support the needs and demands of customers of the company
  • To oversee the management of the Sales Administration department, with the support of a Sales Administration Manager who is responsible for managing the day to day activities of the team and work.
  • To develop, implement and improve order management processes which effectively support company growth.
  • Review order complexities and seek out process or workflow improvements

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with highly developed specialist supply chain knowledge and proven leadership ability at a senior management level.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing effective and efficient strategic plans for complex supply chains using experience and data analysis
  • Ability to deliver long term strategies to achieve breakthrough working with multi functional teams
  • Excellent relationship management skills, strong influencing skills and negotiating skills
