Training Coordinator - Staines - £20,000 Temp to Perm

I am currently recruiting for an established Software solutions organisation based in Staines upon Thames for a Training Coordinator on a Temp to Perm basis.

The ideal candidate must be available to start work straight away and ideally (but not essential) have a training background.

Job purpose

To maximise customer satisfaction and minimise fixed costs by organising and deploying the company's resources as effectively as possible.

Key responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for the planning and organisation of training courses.
  • Maintaining an up to date and comprehensive schedule of all training courses to customers and a schedule of the commitments of all trainers.
  • Contacting delegates to organise dates for scheduled or private training events
  • Preparing and dispatching communications to delegates as required.
  • Deploying staff to deliver training services, and post training support services maximising the available resources across the group.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent communication and relationships with the sales and training teams in order to remain fully aware of all organisational commitments at all times.
  • Booking and managing training venues ensuring that they are fit for purpose, functional and welcoming and that their use is maximised.
  • Working with the trainers to ensure that they have the information, equipment and materials required to deliver their training programmes.
  • Reviewing post training course evaluation forms and making whatever adjustments are necessary for future events to ensure continuous improvement helps to maximise attendance and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting post consultancy evaluation exercises to keep up to date with levels of customer satisfaction and to feed this into Senior Management.
  • Being an ambassador for the group during all customer interactions and living in accordance with the group values at all times.
  • Participating in company projects as and when required

    • Not misuse any equipment issued in the interest of health, safety or welfare, e.g. goggles, hearing protection, protective clothing, safe systems etc.
    • Ensure that accidents & incidents are reported promptly & fully to the appropriate person, manager or supervisor.
    • Keep all work areas clean and tidy.
    • Comply with any instructions issued by your line manager.
    • Comply with any instruction issued by a Principle Contractor or his/her representative at construction sites.
    • If you are supervising trainees, ensure they are capable of undertaking any task required of them & are aware of health & safety elements of those tasks.
