We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated candidate for Freight Forwarder (Road). Experience in operating sub-contracted hauliers for European and UK Road freight would be preferred but full training would be provided for someone starting out their career. Also is you have an additional European language that would be beneficial - French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, German

The Role

The role is office based in Bracknell working as part of a team involved in the company's provision of European road haulage services to its client base. The job will be varied but will focus mainly on the day-to-day freight forwarding operation whilst developing new and maintaining existing supplier and customer relationships.

This will involve constant communication by telephone and email to our customers and hauliers in order to provide a first-class logistics product.

To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate and negotiate well under pressure and have the ability to respond quickly to quote requests and then achieve the best possible rate and service from any given supplier while meeting the customers' demands and expectations at all times.

You will also need to be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages, be proficient in the use of bespoke IT systems, with Multifreight experience desirable, but not essential, have strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and manage your workload within guidelines.
