A great opportunity has arisen for someone to join a well-established and fast growing company based in Hounslow/Heathrow. Recently voted London's best steel fabricator. They require a Customer Service Advisor to join their team.They are offering a salary of £30,000-£35,000 dependant on experience

If you have a friendly, personable approach with great communication skills then this is the role for you, you will be an integral part of the office, building relationships with customers and resolving issues and queries effectively. An aptitude to understand technical details would be a distinct advantage, full training will be given.

Duties include:

Role includes but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing calls to the relevant department/person
  • Assisting callers with general enquiries, like at what time can they expect their delivery.
  • Dealing with walk-in customers and visitors
  • Ordering office and production consumables
  • Taking care of the lobby area ensuring it is tidy and inviting.
  • Filtering incoming emails from new customers by calling them back and building rapport by asking more about the project, whether they have heard about us, is it a live project/tender, how many projects a year they do, explaining our process, redirecting to another company if it's not something we deal with, etc.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Taking care of project and office documentation.
  • Preparing the delivery schedule using our software for the following day and sometimes calling customers to agree on timings.
  • Responding to emails that do not require a quotation (these are dealt with by the Estimators)

All online work is predominantly done on our proprietary software, which is easy to use, and we will provide the necessary training.

The Company is looking for an ambitious individual who is fascinated about good customer service, has ability to understand customer needs and communicates with conviction in a positive way.

Problem-solving skills, Decision making ability, Organisational skills, Procedural mindset, Ability to prioritise, Attention to detail, Ability to analyse data and understand connections, Excellent communication and writing skills.

Desirable qualifications: Background in Civil/Structural Engineering or experience with reading technical drawings.

Desirable experience: Experience in Customer Service.
