Customs Compliance Coordinator with import an export shipping background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all import and export shipments into UK and Ireland are accompanied with the correct paperwork and are coded to attract the appropriate tax.
-Dealing with Custom's requirements when importing or exporting from UK & Ireland
-Manage Shipping Agents to ensure that delivery processes are efficient and relevant customs clearance paperwork is received
-Dealing with customs clearance paperwork
-Ensure that errors are reported accurately and in a timely manner
-Work with Finance department on HMRC data received to check their accuracy and follow up any errors
-Ensure that transport related invoices are correct and coded properly for authorisation
-Monthly KPI report, highlighting accuracy of paperwork
-To analyse service providers performance and produce measurement reports showing service levels per transporter
-To suggest areas for improvement in service with either plant, service provider or customer
-To develop the system to support the Customs process and automate where possible

-Successful in working/achieving through others
-Accomplished in sustaining strong customer relationships
-Effective in delivering business models and plans
-Familiar with Supply Chain development
-Expert level of understanding of supply chain processes
