My client is looking for an Estimator to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. With this role you will be entitled to great benefits including; health insurance, pension and 25 days holiday. They are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Day to day handling of all incoming tender enquiries, general enquiries and requests for information from end users
  • Follow up tender proposals within 24 hours of submissions to ensure the customer have received and understood the submission
  • Manage the commercial aspects of all new orders before issuing to Operation for onward processing
  • Ensure that all relevant fields are accurately completed at all times for tender enquiry handling, quotation follow up and order processing, to ensure that management data required by the business can be fulfilled
  • To manage & maintain customer relationships, ensuring that customers are kept fully abreast of the status of their enquiry/order, identifying customer issues and taking action appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction
  • To establish sound working relationships with our existing and new main contractor, end user, quantity surveyor and specified customers

The right candidate for this role will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and its different forms of contract
  • Highly professional and articulate, in both verbal and written communication
  • Highly target driven
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to carry out administrative tasks as part of the role
  • PC literate and proficient in the use of MS Office and familiar with CRM systems
