Qualifications and Skills Needed:

**Financial Experience:** Prior experience working in a financial department or team.

  1. **Attention to Detail:** Strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  2. **MS Office Proficiency:** Good understanding and experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  3. **Financial Spreadsheets:** Proficiency in managing financial spreadsheets and a high level of numerical aptitude.
  4. **Sage200 or Similar Knowledge:** Knowledge of Sage200 or a similar finance package would be advantageous, although not mandatory.
  5. **Communication Skills:** Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. **Workload Management:** Ability to effectively prioritise and manage their own workload.

Summary of the role:

**Finance Administration:**

  1. Administer accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate coding of entries.
  2. Maintain reports for the Finance Director, handling invoices and tax payments.
  3. Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts, maintaining organized invoice and payment records.
  4. Assist with invoice filing, document management, and general financial support tasks.
  5. Collaborate on projects, data analysis, and various finance-related activities.
  6. Monitor the accounts email inbox for invoice number requests generated from Chertsey emails.
  7. Enter invoice information on Sage, providing invoice numbers to the relevant personnel.

**Reception Duties:**

  1. Answer incoming calls courteously and direct them to the appropriate recipient.
  2. Welcome and assist office visitors for a positive experience.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing mail for different departments.
  4. Maintain a clean and organised reception area, handle stationary stock, and aid in purchasing activities as needed.
