I am looking for a Key Account Manager (live central UK to enable easy access to customers nationwide) to join a global company. They are looking for a Key Account Manager to be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy to successfully secure new contracts and partnerships with large nationally based fleet operators.


  • To identify, target, prospect and win profitable fleet solutions business and service including managed contracts
  • Implement strategies involving connected technologies, data management systems and use in support of overall account objectives.
  • To be responsible for P&L for managed fleet business.
  • To provide performance data to Technical Services to build a comprehensive knowledge of product application and performance of in whole life cost calculations.
  • To give feedback on service provider performance from fleet perspective
  • To be field based and responsible for day to day calling on customers, their account management and performance reports in liaison with the Commercial Fleet Sales Manager.
  • Identify, sort & prioritise target accounts delivering optimum mix of product, channel & services.
  • Conduct budget cost analysis of potential new customers in conjunction with them.
  • Planning sales by article to ensure optimum product supply.
  • Provide information to Pricing Manager on fleet business for onward communication to European pricing team.
  • Assist Marketing with any requirements on promotion material for managed fleet business.
  • Simplify the managed fleet approach where possible & look to utilise systems where possible.
  • Attend monthly business review meetings updating sales, forecast, fleet profitability & market conditions including new and decreasing size requirements
