My award winning client based in West Drayton is looking for an Marketing Executive to join their fast growing team. Salary £27-33K depending on experience.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, independent and organised Marketing Executive to build and develop the many brands they work with.

One of those brands is their own brand, which we are getting ready to launch our own brand which has recently been revamped and are looking for someone to deliver the launch of it in August/September 2023.

Their team is small and fun but growing fast, and we're set on getting our name and brands out there!

This role is very hands on, and you will be expected to know how to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and be comfortable with working on content plans for our social media platform.

You will be a strong, creative writer with high standards for your work, and you are either used to taking on responsibility or are looking for an opportunity like this to take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies not only for own brands but for licensor brands as well. This includes strategies for brand awareness and promoting product launches for both B2C and B2B
  • SetKPIs to monitor and assess the success of the strategies and campaigns
    • Document best practices from previous campaigns so that we can continually learn and improve future campaign performance
  • Develop timelines and strategies that are co-ordinated with retailers' strategies/launches
  • Lead and develop social media content plans to share with our external agency and work with them to execute the content
  • Lead on website development and work with our external agency to ensure it is following the brief and brand guidelines
  • Analyse and report on advertising and marketing activities
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Plan conference and exhibition presence, including booth design and marketing materials. This may include setting up and taking down the booth
  • Creation and delivery for all customer facing content (e.g., packaging, social media posts, website product descriptions, etc.)
  • Create and maintain a creative asset library
  • Organise external photoshoots ahead of product launches and also be able to take photos in-house if urgently needed
  • Ongoing content management, including refreshing photos and copywriting. Storing all content, photos in an organised way.
  • Manage budgets to ensure all invoices are inline with the expected costs
  • Develop a strong relationship with all departments: Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Design, Customer Services and Finance
  • Work closely with the product development manager and graphic designer on product developments and design
  • Be a brand guardian and ensure that all customer facing content and designs are aligned with our brand guidelines
  • Conduct regular research on competitor marketing activities
  • Take the lead in gaining customer insight, and evaluate how this impacts strategies and future product development
  • Any other marketing activities that may be necessary to facilitate the smooth running of the business

Required experience

  • 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Experience of creating campaign analysis from raw data through to Microsoft PowerPoint deck, and everything in-between
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Demonstrable experience of building and executing a brand
  • Project management and working under pressure
  • Experience with trade shows and conferences
  • Gaining and reporting on customer insights
  • Experience of product launches both online and in retail spaces
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Working with and managing agencies
  • Creating strategies and content across different brands while maintaining the brand guidelines for each brand

Desirable experience (not required)

  • Use of Canva
  • SEO knowledge
  • Knowledge of illustrator
