My client are a global research-based biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, and development of innovative medicines.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Associate to join them on a 12-month contract
Specific Job Requirements
- Assists in the development of training programs and training of employees on the use of contracting systems and system-related processes
- Assists in quality control and improvement initiatives for Medical Affairs contracting
- May develop technical solutions to complex problems
- Evaluate and update or establish procedures relating to SOP maintenance around key activities to improve overall efficiencies, streamline execution and measure effectiveness
- Lead the roll-out of new applications, tools, and processes to end-users
- Assists in creating process documents and standard operating procedures for Medical Affairs systems
- Creation of contracts as required by stakeholder
- Vendor management to ensure vendor deliverables and timelines are successfully met to expectation
- Negotiates contracts and terms of service with vendors
Knowledge
- Demonstrate developing skills within analytical expertise, influence, and initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Sharepoint, SAP/Ariba advantageous
- Experience in negotiating vendor contracts, and managing vendors
Skills and Experience
- Requires a minimum of 4-years relevant experience in the project planning
- Pharmaceutical or health care industry an advantage
