Our client, who are a globally recognised air conditioning manufacturer, are seeking a Supply Chain Planner, who will be reporting into the Account Management Division Deputy General Manager. To be successful and considered for this position, then you MUST have a minimum of 2 year in demand planning and stock management and have advanced excel as this is essential to the job. Supply Chain Planner main purpose of the job:

SALES ORDER PROCESSING: to manage the orders of their distributors, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers and other members of the team to ensure their queries are timely looked after and the goods are shipped in line with customers' expectations.

OPERATIONS PLANNING: Demand planning and reporting of sales, stock, backorders and shipment schedules.

PROJECTS: Support the Account management team with implementation of new business/lines of products, and projects to improve the efficiency of the company which might require extensive ERP development.

OTHER DUTIES: Internal/external auditing support, Customs/product classification, item master update, logistics cost reporting, etc.

Supply Chain Planner General Duties

  • Sales Order Processing for all the clients Air-conditioning products (Units, accessories, spare parts):
    • Daily processing of sales orders in their system
    • Tracing and release of Back Orders in their system
    • Preparing and supplying the necessary documentation (P/L, Proforma invoices) to their customers
    • Liaising with customers by phone and/or email answering enquiries in regards to sales orders, stock availability and Orders ETAs
    • Liaising with the Warehouse staff to resolve delivery and stock issues
    • Liaising with their European and Asian suppliers.
    • Consult with Technical Team (Pre/After sales as appropriate) to support sales
    • Release Stock and Control aged back orders on a daily basis to support inventory management
    • Filing of necessary shipping documentation (POs, Bill of lading. waybills, invoices, credit memos, etc)
    • Assisting during the auditing process
  • Operations Planning
    • Liaising with vendors to ensure proper replenishment of stock
    • Demand planning for assigned category
    • Understand reporting tool Power BI and create reports when requested
    • Day to day monitoring:
      • Production schedule update
      • Inbound update
  • Projects:
    • Support with new business set up
    • Support with new lines of products and new customers
    • Support with new demand planning and replenishment system
  • OTHER DUTIES
    • Internal/External auditing support
    • Customs/product classifications
    • Update of item master in the system
    • Troubleshooting of ERP system.
    • Logistic cost benchmarking, Route to market study, and so forth

Supply Chain Planner Required Skills
