Transport Analyst

My global Logistics client in Northern Ireland is looking for a Transport Analyst to join there growing team. Salary £25-£27K with Bonus depending on skills and experience

Key Job functions include but not limited to:

• Daily review of operations Work In Progress (WIP) dashboards. Evaluating Pre-carriage, Dwell and Ocean Transit
• Daily feedback via Teams meeting to the Trade Lane Managers (TLM's) escalating impacted shipments
• Reporting of exemptions that impact our inventory in transit
• Daily review all requests via DOCS and CSQi platforms to provide information to our dealers.
• Quoting shipping costs and evaluating most cost-effective mode and recording of all Spot Quotes.
• Daily forecasting via our Shipment Pre-Planning tool (SPP)
• Weekly consolidation of SPP forecasted data to share with our Ocean Carriers.
• Ongoing upkeep of Standard Operating Processes (SOP)
• Daily support to the TLMs
• Daily collaboration with internal Value Streams, Facilities, Freight Forwarders and Carriers

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in international transportation areas approx 2 years relevant experience perferred. Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air.
• Proficient in English.
• Effective communication skills
• Team player
• Ability to be analytical & problem-solving.
• Motivated to gain expertise in international transportation processes
• Process & customer service driven
• Comfortable working in highly diversified and operational business environment with strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint etc)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel (vlookups, formula's), Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive, Visio, Outlook)
• Good to have: Good Working Knowledge of Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce
• Hybrid working an option.
