An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor / Collections Advisor to join a growing and innovative financial services business based in Milton Keynes. This opportunity would suit someone with strong financial services customer service experience, even if they have not worked directly in collections, as full training can be provided.

The Role Working within a busy customer operations team, you will support customers through a range of communication channels including phone, email, SMS, and webchat. You will help customers manage their accounts, discuss payment options, and deliver positive outcomes in a compliant and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Responding to customer queries via email, SMS, and webchat
  • Supporting customers with payment plans and account solutions
  • Delivering excellent service in line with FCA regulations
  • Managing sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Updating systems accurately and maintaining records
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience within financial services customer service is essential
  • Collections, arrears, credit control, or lending experience highly desirable
  • Understanding of FCA regulations / Treating Customers Fairly
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Positive, resilient, and professional approach
  • Able to manage workload in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am – 1:00pm
