Job Title: Electronics Engineer
Location: Alperton, Brent

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 base (negotiable based on experience)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week; 4 days in office, 1 day WFH)
Parkside Recruitment are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer for a research client situated in Alperton.
This role involves the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical systems and firmware across new and existing SMS products.
What You’ll Do: - Design and test electronic circuits (analog/digital/mixed signal)
- Create PCB layouts and wiring diagrams
- Build and test prototypes, fixing problems as needed
- Work with software teams on firmware for microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation
- Help ensure compliance with industry standards and safety rules (like EMC & RoHS)
- Contribute to product innovation with the R&D team
What We’re Looking For: - 1–5 years of experience in electronics development
- Experience designing and testing circuit boards (including power, sensing, and signal systems)
- Comfortable with tools like oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, and PCB design software (e.g. Proteus)
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++, Python, or similar languages
- Good communication skills – able to explain ideas clearly
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
