Job Title: Fire Service Manager
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Permanent
Salary: £42,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday, including one unpaid hour for lunch)
Holiday: 23 days holiday (including 3 days for Christmas shutdown) PLUS Bank Holidays

About the Role:
Parkside Recruitment are seeking a proactive and experienced Fire Service Manager to lead a Fire Service Department.
This role involves managing a team of Engineers and Clerical Support, coordinating fire service operations, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring compliance with British Standards and company documentation.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Fire Service Department budget, including liaison with the Fire Installation Department.
- Schedule and supervise Fire Service Engineers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork for upcoming services.
- Process documentation, manage call-outs, and arrange remedial work.
- Handle customer call-outs and provide out-of-hours support.
- Approve timesheets, audit engineer attendance, and manage holidays and absenteeism.
- Prepare quotations for minor works, installations, and fire extinguishers.
- Conduct product and engineer audits.
- Provide on-site assistance and support to engineers as needed.
- Manage false alarm statistics and follow up with customers after activations.
