12-Month Fixed-Term Contract The Role This is a commercially focused Management Accountant position with a strong emphasis on financial analysis rather than financial accounting. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities - Analyse financial performance and provide detailed commentary on trends and variances
- Conduct margin analysis and identify profitability drivers
- Review and interpret financial ratios, KPIs and business performance metrics
- Produce financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis
- Identify risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives through data analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide commercial insights
- Develop reports and dashboards using ERP systems and advanced Excel
What We're Looking For - Qualified or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or Commercial Finance role
- Strong financial analysis experience with the ability to interpret financial statements rather than prepare them
- Experience analysing margins, profitability, KPIs and business performance
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
- Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
