Network Engineering and Installation Support

Our client, an IT consulting and Services company are hiring for a Network Engineer to work on a project basis with one a key multination public organisation.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide 1st to 3rd line IT support across assigned network systems.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Manage and upgrade equipment such as firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and switches.
- Use tools like PatchManager and Cablesolve for accurate configuration management.
- Ensure compliance with NATO security policies and procedures.
- Support structured cabling (CAT5, fibre) and manage power distribution in server racks.
- Assist in rolling out and supporting enterprise Wi-Fi systems.
Essential Requirements: - Experience working as a Network Engineer.
- CISCO CCNP or JNCIP certification.
- COMPTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Windows 10/11 system administration
- Network monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUpGold)
- Configuring iSCSI storage
- CISCO Wi-Fi systems
- Structured cabling (CAT5, fibre)
- PatchManager or similar infrastructure management tools
- Power distribution and racking within server environments
- Firewall installation and configuration
Desirable Skills: - Strong troubleshooting across all IT support levels.
- Experience in NATO, military, or defence environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and compliance tools.
