Job Title: Office Administrator Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (DOE) Location: Stevenage
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and organised
Office Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role within a fast-paced, supportive office environment.
The Role This position will involve a broad range of administrative, coordination, and office support duties. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and supporting multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities - Maintaining and updating internal databases and customer records
- Processing engineers’ reports, worksheets, and service documentation
- Scheduling maintenance visits, call-outs, and coordinating engineer diaries
- Raising purchase orders and supporting internal systems
- Assisting with invoicing, supplier documentation, and basic finance admin
- Producing reports and managing data using Excel
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
- Supporting meeting coordination and general office organisation
- Providing reception cover when required
Systems & Software - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bespoke/internal databases (full training provided)
About You - Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
Working Hours Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
