Order Processor Location: Hayes, Middlesex (on-site)
Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (covering hours between 08:00 – 19:00)
Hourly Rate: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-focused
Order Processor to join a busy and fast-paced customer operations team based in Hayes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service experience who enjoys taking ownership and providing high-quality support to both consumers and internal teams.
The Role As an
Order Processor, you will be responsible for handling customer orders from placement through to delivery. This includes managing stock levels, tracking deliveries, processing returns, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the journey.
What We’re Looking For - Previous experience in order management, customer service, or administration
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Experience with systems such as Microsoft D365 (desirable)
- A team player who is flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change
- Comfortable working in a structured environment with clear KPIs
- Ability to train and support colleagues within the department
Key Responsibilities - Process consumer orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide delivery updates, PODs, and tracking information to customers
- Manage out-of-stock notifications and update orders accordingly
- Monitor and maintain the open order book
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve delivery or stock issues
- Respond to queries via phone, email, and live chat
- Handle delivery push-outs/pull-ins and support the sales and stock calendars
- Manage affiliate and error orders
- Cross-train colleagues and provide support across the wider team as needed
- Maintain up-to-date records in D365 and complete key reporting tasks (e.g., Tramo Report)
