A well-established and award-winning professional services organisation is seeking a Receptionist / Office Administrator to join their welcoming and supportive team in St Albans. The Role You'll play a key role in creating a professional and positive experience for clients and visitors while providing administrative support to various departments across the business. This is a varied position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities Reception & Front of House
  • Greet clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are presentation-ready
  • Arrange refreshments for meetings and visitors
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing post, couriers, and deliveries
  • Maintain visitor logs and support office security procedures
Administration Support
  • Coordinate diaries, meetings, and appointments
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and business documents
  • Assist with client onboarding and compliance administration
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and internal databases
  • Support HR and Learning & Development administration
  • Assist with company events, employee engagement activities, and internal projects
  • Provide general administrative support across multiple teams
About You
  • Previous experience within reception and administration
  • Professional, friendly, and confident communicator
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
