An Exciting Opportunity in Building Services Engineering – Oxford Based We are working with a respected building services consultancy that is seeking a motivated
Senior or Intermediate Building Services Engineer to join their Oxford team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical or electrical engineer to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality design projects, manage contractors, and support junior team members while contributing to the ongoing success of the business.
Key Responsibilities: - Produce mechanical and/or electrical designs that meet legislative and Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor installations and oversee contractor performance.
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.
- Assist with tender preparation and support business development efforts.
- Lead or contribute to project meetings, sometimes acting as Contract Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with QA procedures and promote safe working practices.
About You: - Strong technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical building services.
- Experience in project delivery, contractor oversight, and client interaction.
- Confident communicator with leadership skills and a proactive approach.
- Committed to achieving positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
