Trading Support Assistant – 12 Month Contract
Location: Harrow, London
Salary: £25,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 12-month maternity cover

I’m currently working with a leading retail business who are seeking a Trading Support Assistant to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This opportunity would suit a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting trading and buying teams across the UK.

The Role:
In this role, you’ll provide key administrative support to the Trading Management Team, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects and supporting day-to-day trading activity. You'll work closely with Buyers and other internal teams, managing large data sets and ensuring tight deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely administrative support for trading projects.
  • Work with Excel and internal systems to manage and analyse data.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements.
  • Manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.

About You:
  • Recent graduate calibre, ideally in a business-related subject.
  • Strong Excel and numeracy skills with the ability to analyse and present data.
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently.
Desirable:
  • 1-2 years' office-based experience, ideally within the retail sector.
